About Me

I was born and raised in Santa Barbara, CA and attended UCLA from 2004-2008, spending my summers working for Theatre and Nature Camps with kids and teens.  After graduation I began a dual career as a math tutor and actor.  Over the next ten years I worked with dozens of students and logged thousands of hours working with math students around Los Angeles.  In the summer of 2018, I bid a fond farewell to my LA-based pupils and moved to Atlanta, where I have continued my work as both actor and tutor.  Since the initial Covid-19 lockdown in March 2020, I have switched from a mix of in-person and remote tutoring to exclusively remote sessions via Zoom.  I continue to do so with students from Georgia, California, New Jersey, Massachusetts, and elsewhere.

I love working with kids. I like to entertain them and put them at ease so that the ones who already like math can excel and the ones who despise it can at least stomach it and have some fun as we work together to reach their goals.  Every student is unique.  Every student deserves to feel confident in their math class.  I make it my job to adapt to the goals and personality of each and every one so they develop confidence in their abilities and put them into action.
